Square Enix has confirmed the Japanese release date for 'Dragon Quest X', as well as announcing a prior BETA test for the MMORPG.

The title will be released in Japan as an 'All In One Package' and already includes the first three updates. The game itself will be available for the equivalent of €40 and will then require a monthly subscription costing around €12 per month. This will give PS4 players access to five characters.

Previous BETA test planned

Prior to the official release, a beta test will take place from July 19th, 2017 to August 10th, 2017, also exclusively in Japan. Those willing to go to the necessary lengths to participate can... via the official homepage Apply for it.

Dragon Quest X itself will be released on August 17, 2017. There is currently no information about a western release of the game, although Square Enix has not ruled it out.
