Barely two weeks old, the innovative co-op title 'A Way Out' from EA and Hazelight has already broken the million mark, as the developer announced today via Twitter.
They themselves could hardly describe what this meant for the game and the studio and expressed their extraordinary gratitude for all the support during this time.
We just found out that #AWayOut has sold over 1 million copies, in just over two weeks! Words cannot describe how much this means to us. Thank you to all of you for your support!

A Way Out employs a rather interesting co-op concept that forces players to cooperate. A Friends Pass was introduced specifically for this purpose, allowing only one player to own the game and invite any number of friends to join. However, the extent to which this concept will impact revenue remains to be seen.
New project already started
Unfortunately, there will be no ongoing support for A Way Out in the form of DLCs or similar content, as Hazelight is now focusing on a new project. What that project will be is currently completely unclear.
