The highly anticipated co-op title 'A Way OutThe game from Electronic Arts and Hazelight may not be released until 2019, according to recent reports. It was originally expected to be released next year.
A user on the Reddit forum has now been more or less intentionally leaked some internal marketing material, which includes the roadmap for 'A Way Out'. According to this material, the game's next premiere is planned for the upcoming PlayStation Experience, where the two main characters will be introduced. The game's presentation will then continue regularly throughout the coming year.
The game is also advertised for release in 2019, although this is internal material that could also refer to the fiscal year. Therefore, A Way Out could still be released in 2018.
A Way Out promises unique and unforgettable moments, chases, stealth sections, close-quarters combat, shootouts, and much more. The game begins with two separate inmates, Leo and Vincent, who are strangers to each other. Each has their own personal story that needs to be developed, and relationships based on trust must be built between them in order to escape from prison together.
EA itself has not yet commented further on a possible release of the game, so we have to wait for further announcements.
