Hazelight's co-op title 'A Way Out' has barely been released, and it's already giving other currently popular games like 'Fortnite' serious competition.
Perhaps not yet in terms of sales figures or player count, but certainly in terms of Twitch viewers, where A Way Out instantly overtook the Epic title last Friday. At times, over 217.000 players were watching, while Fortnite reached around 200.000 viewers at the same time. However, these are only temporary figures, as Fortnite has sometimes reached over 250.000 viewers, and the recent release of A Way Out is certainly playing a role in this.

Game Director Josef Fares is pleased that there is such strong interest in the game, which does things quite differently from the norm. However, Hazelight would be even happier if these 217.000 viewers were not just viewers, but also buyers.
