Developer Sloclap and Devolver Digital have today released another update for 'Absolver' in version 1.08, including a new Prestige level system, four new equipment sets, nine additional masks and the much-requested bald look.
In addition, a Halloween event will be introduced to the game for a limited time, featuring all 1v1 maps in a nighttime variant and giving the six so-called Marked Ones stylish Halloween masks – which players can then collect.
The new Prestige system extends progression levels beyond level 60 and adds several new subsystems for advanced players, allowing them to further enhance their Absolver. Rift Coins and Rift Disks replace random loot drops in Combat Trials and can be exchanged for rarer gear and weapons, while Crystals are awarded at each new Prestige level. Players can also reset attribute points and purchase Rift Disks. Additionally, new sorting, recovery, and repair options allow for better inventory management.
The latest update also includes new gear and nine new masks, including six Halloween masks given to the Marked Ones boss characters, which players can use to trick-or-treat them. Other updates include a night mode for maps throughout the Halloween holidays, a shiny bald cap for player characters, and various gameplay improvements requested by the community since the last update.
