Following this week's release announcement, Rice Digital today announced an exclusive Neet Edition of 'Akiba's Beat', which will be released in spring 2017.
Akiba's Beat is a real-time party-based action RPG set in a meticulously detailed and hyper-stylized recreation of Akihabara, the world-famous district of Tokyo where culture and technology collide. As dark forces spread through the city, the memories, hopes, and dreams of its inhabitants manifest, mysteriously altering the city and threatening to disrupt the fabric of space and time.
Now it's up to Asahi Tachibana, a self-proclaimed "NEET" (Youth Without Work, Education, or Ambition), to tackle the bizarre phenomena in Akihabara with a chaotic group of chosen ones. Players can assemble a team from these multifaceted characters and delve into the manifested fantasies.
