Former Assassin's Creed creator Patrice Désilets returns today with his new studio Panache Digital and their first project, 'Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey', which is previewed today.
A new video has been released to give you a first impression of the game, which Désilets considers absolutely unique and exciting. A little tip beforehand: "Good luck, you're mostly on your own!"
To the game It says here:
"Ancestors begins 10 million years ago and spans a full 8 million years. More than enough time to explore the beautiful but unforgiving world of Africa in the Neogene period. As you evolve, you not only expand your territory and grow your tribe, but also acquire new skills and pass them on to the next generation."
Ancestors is described as a unique gaming experience that poses a simple question: Can you, as modern Homo sapiens, survive just like our ancestors? To do so, players must be absolutely attentive, cautious, flexible, and thoughtful. There's no right or wrong way to play; it's all about experimentation. In the end, you create your own adventure…
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will be released in 2019.
