Erst a few days ago The discussion centered on whether the development of Anthem Next It remains to be seen whether the project will be continued or not. Apparently, the project failed to convince the public and has now been officially discontinued.

BioWare announced on their official blog that they have made the difficult decision to end development. However, the existing live service for the current game will continue.

Regarding the new version is it [called:

“I know this will be disappointing for the Anthem player community, who were excited about the improvements we've been working on. It's also disappointing for the team, who have done a brilliant job. For me personally, Anthem is what brought me to BioWare, and the last two years have been some of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my career.”

"Game development is difficult, and decisions like this are not easy. Going forward, we need to focus our efforts as a studio more and strengthen the next Dragon Age and Mass Effect titles, while continuing to provide high-quality updates for Star Wars: The Old Republic."

How long the existing Anthem will continue to be supported will likely depend heavily on player numbers. So far, however, it is BioWare's biggest failure.
