Fast Travel Games today released a free title update for 'Apex Construct' on PlayStation VR, adding the Cygnia Cup Challenge.
In the Cygnia Cup Challenge, the player is transported to a relocated pre-apocalyptic arena and participates in global leaderboards. The goal is to:
- Fight in 6 locations in the arena, each with increasing difficulty levels.
- Shoot targets and enemies quickly to keep the combo meter high!
- Avoid being shot by Mothr's attacking bots. If you die, the challenge is over.
- Use your wits to achieve the highest score.
- Earn your place on the global leaderboards.
- Participating in the Score Challenge also earns you RP, which you can spend on upgrades or consumables in the campaign.
In addition to the new game mode, the update also makes some improvements to the overall game, including even more seamless movement in Free Locomotion or Teleportation.
