UpdateAnyone who wants to watch the live stream can find it below. However, the title has so far only been announced for PC and Xbox.
100% yes please please for the PS5… we'll know for sure on Tuesday.
Nowadays, it's no longer affordable to release such AAA titles, or even some indie titles, only on PC.
I still remember back then (it was ~ early 2014 after the release of Arma 3), when it was said that Arma 3 had been designed from the beginning as a purely PC game and that a port would have involved a great deal of work, which they said could not be "justified".
Incidentally, the predecessor, Arma 2, was also originally intended for Xbox 360. If they received the development kits in advance of the next-gen console launch, that would explain the game's progress and the upcoming reveal.
