Now that most players have likely explored the deserts and oases of ancient Egypt in 'Assassin's Creed Origins*, it's up to Ubisoft to keep you entertained with the title in the long term.
Therefore, a number of new activities are planned for the current month of December, which the publisher presents today, including free and paid DLC. This also includes a new title update that, in addition to new content, creates an even more challenging game. Here's a list of things you can look forward to:
- Nightmare Mode: A new difficulty level called "Nightmare" is added. Your opponents can take more damage and become more dangerous.
- Enemy Scaling: Due to numerous requests, we have added an enemy scaling option. When this option is enabled, enemies of a lower level will automatically be scaled to the player's level.
- The items from the "Nightmare" and "First Civilization" packs are available in Heka chests.
There will also be two new quests:
- A new quest introduces Horde Mode. The quest "Here Comes a New Challenger" introduces the new Horde Mode, fulfilling your deepest warrior desires. You can test your skills in the Kyrene Arena against endless waves of enemies. We recommend a minimum level of 32 for this.

Trials of the Gods
This month, players have the opportunity to battle the final member of our trio of gods: the goddess of war herself, Sekhmet. Are you ready to take on the fiercest huntress of ancient Egypt?

But that's not the end of it. In November, many of you proved your mettle by defeating Anubis and Sobek during the first two Trials of the Gods. We know that not everyone had the chance to face these two gods back then, but fear not, you now have another opportunity. Players will have the chance to test their skills against all three gods.
Gladiator Pack – December 12 (DLC)
- "Spanish armor", the shield "Palladium", the sword "Hercules' Gladius", the heavy bladed weapon "Labrys" and the spear "Grip of Neptune".
Eccentrics Pack – December 26 (DLC)
- The Eccentric Pack contains a mount and four weapons. More information will be announced soon, but until then, here's a little hint: This pack goes perfectly with the "Bathhouse Towel" outfit.
