Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has officially gone gold. It will be released on July 9th with direct Animus Hub integration with Assassin's Creed Shadows.

The remake "Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced" has officially gone "GOLD" and will set sail on July 9th. Ubisoft is directly linking the release with the final content update for "Assassin's Creed Shadows" to connect both games in the Animus Hub.

The bridge in the Animus Hub is standing

The crossover starts immediately with the latest update in "Assassin's Creed Shadows." Through two new, cross-game projects in the Animus Hub, you can already unlock Captain Kenway's equipment in Sengoku Japan. Ubisoft is utilizing its live service structure here, so anyone who owns "Assassin's Creed Shadows" can now farm the items for the pirate adventure.

At the same time, the update delivers “Black Tides"The present-day Rift "Horizon" serves as the narrative transition to the Assassin's Creed Black Flag remake. The story layers intertwine seamlessly, making it a true delight for lore fans. For everyone else, it's at least a nice bonus."

Gameplay focus and old outfits

The developers are also bringing back a highly requested legacy outfit. Naoe can now race through Japan in Edward Kenway's style. However, he can perform significantly more front flips than the old pirate ever managed. This highlights the gameplay contrast between the two titles.

Ubisoft is clearly responding to community feedback from recent months with these simultaneous updates. Players wanted closer integration between eras and real benefits for the grind system in the Hub. That's exactly what's being delivered now.

In a world GONE GOLD, we're gonna be heroes! July 9th is fast approaching, who's ready to set sail? 🤚#AssassinsCreed

The timing is perfect. Instead of releasing the remake in isolation, Ubisoft is using the existing "Assassin's Creed Shadows" community as a springboard. The integration via the Animus Hub makes a lot of sense if you're into these meta-levels. Now the remake just needs to deliver a technically sound product in July.

Will you unlock the Kenway gear in Shadows beforehand, or would you rather wait for the official release on July 9th?

I'm curious to see if this one will have as many bugs as the last few games... 😅

I'm already grinding hard; the new mod mode is awesome, I think the Animus idea is great, it's a shame that older titles like Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla won't benefit from it retroactively. It would be cool if you could use all the microtransactions across all games, but since each game has different gameplay, that probably won't work.
