An insider claims it is the project on which “everyone wants to work“because it is developing exceptionally well.”

Despite recent personnel changes, the team is said to have gained considerable momentum internally. But such statements rarely come without context. And that's precisely what's still missing.

Jean Guesdon, known as Creative Director of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, is now taking over the role. His experience with the brand carries weight because he knows how to technically support large open-world structures. According to insider reports, the team's acceptance of him is acting as a stabilizing factor.

The change isn't being presented as a last resort, but rather as a transition within a project that's already in a strong phase. If that's true, then it speaks to a solid production base and a clear vision, even without Hocking.
