"Assassin's Creed Red" will be the next major installment in Ubisoft's successful series, and its release date has apparently been finalized. This isn't really surprising, though.
Although the project was confirmed months ago, official details, a final name, and a release date are still lacking. This is expected to change next June. Who Insider Gaming As reported today, the Ubisoft Forward event will be the first major appearance for "Assassin's Creed Red," followed shortly by comprehensive hands-on reports. Ubisoft is planning to dedicate the week of the Summer Game Fest to introducing "Assassin's Creed Red" to a wider audience. This will include a first cinematic trailer, the final title, and an approximate release window.
This follows several leaks over the past few weeks, including one about the final name, which will be... Assassin's Creed Shadows The title is said to be [title missing]. This is attributed to the game's theme of feudal Japan and its ninja-like gameplay. Among other things, there was talk of a significantly revamped parkour system and a brutal and bloody approach to the game. Furthermore, the weather system and animations are expected to benefit from an upgrade to the Anvil engine.
Furthermore, it was stated that the combat system was similar to that of Assassin's Creed Valhalla It's similar, plus spectacular decapitations and dismemberments, stealth and camouflage maneuvers, or the use of a grappling hook. Furthermore, Ubisoft is reportedly planning extended support, including at least two major expansions. However, these are all unconfirmed reports so far.
