Koei Tecmo has today released some new details about Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy, including the story and characters.
In Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy Ryza returns for a brand new adventure – the story picks up three years after the events of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and accompanies Ryza on her journey to the Royal Capital of Ashra-am Baird, where she explores ancient ruins and uncovers the truth behind the mysteries of the lost legend.
Along the way, she learns numerous new skills that help her overcome the dangers and tasks that lie ahead. Among other things, she learns to swim. Ryza's newly acquired swimming technique not only helps her discover materials in bodies of water but also leads her to the entrance of an underwater dungeon.
Ryza is once again accompanied on her journey by her cheerful and mischievous friends – among them, Klaudia. The only daughter of a merchant family, Klaudia worked in the royal capital, where she reminisces about the adventures she and Ryza shared three years prior. Still yearning for a more exciting life, Klaudia fatefully reunites with Ryza in the Royal Capital. Also joining Ryza's group in this adventure is a mystical creature named "Fi." This being doesn't speak, but is highly expressive and full of emotion. It quickly befriends Ryza and helps her uncover the true meaning of the lost legends.
Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy It will be released this winter for PS4, Switch & PC. Buyers will also receive a bonus outfit during the first few days.
