"Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Dreamed Land" tells the story of Yumia Liessfeldt in a world where alchemy is considered evil and forbidden. Yumia, a young alchemist, embarks on a journey to uncover the secrets of the once-flourishing Aladissian Empire, which was destroyed by alchemy. Her journey takes her across a devastated continent, where she is confronted not only with the dark secrets of her past but also with the traces of ancient alchemy. Despite the dangers and uncertainties, Yumia must find her own path to unravel the cataclysm that destroyed Aladiss.
The game allows players to step into the role of Yumia and explore a vast world. Along her journey, she is joined by Viktor von Duerer and his sister Isla, as well as other unique characters, including a mysterious woman, a shy half-human, and a former adventurer. Together, they traverse the enormous continent that once formed the heart of the Aladissian Empire, exploring diverse biomes, gathering materials, and synthesizing items to progress.
New feature: Simple synthesis
One of the new features in the game is the "Easy Synthesis" function, which allows players to craft items on the go without having to return to their base. Additionally, the "Build" function lets players construct their own base and furnish and decorate it to their liking.
Visually, the game impresses thanks to the work of artist Benitama, who is responsible for the main artwork and character design. His unique style, which incorporates elements of paintings and reliefs, lends the game a special atmosphere that reflects both depth and the typical charm of the Atelier series.
