Developer Mundfish is giving a first look today at the upcoming DLC for Atomic Heart, which will be released this summer.

As the rather short teaser suggests, this appears to be a brand-new environment to explore, possibly even an underwater world. More precise details are expected to follow in the coming months.

Atomic Heart It's considered a real insider tip this year, offering players a utopian retelling of world history. In this version, humans live in harmony with their loyal and diligent robots in a fictional USSR, at the forefront of a scientific and technological revolution. Or at least, that's how it once was. Secret experiments and relentless technological progress have destroyed this once utopian world of wonder and perfection.

In our review of Atomic Heart We came to the following conclusion:

"The game combines many aspects and styles from different genres, coupled with demanding challenges, an acceptable combat system, and a compelling atmosphere. While the title does occasionally struggle with weaknesses, overall we are quite satisfied and pleased that the young team has not failed to live up to its high ambitions."

More information about the first DLC is expected in the coming weeks.
