A hotfix will be released on December 12, 2024, allowing PS5 Pro players to disable PSSR in the game menu. This was announced on X explained the development team: "Our goal is to offer Avatar the best possible quality on all platforms. The upcoming hotfix will give PS5 Pro players the option to enable or disable PSSR. If they disable PSSR, the same upscaling technology as on the standard PS5 will be used."

René Brummund runs great on the PS5... it was obvious it wouldn't be particularly optimized for the Pro, that's the case with many finished games... why bother... game's finished, end of story... next one, please, with PSSR... cost/benefit for the developers? Zero.
