Hello There Games and Wired Productions celebrate the life's work of the legendary DJ, who passed away unexpectedly in 2018, with 'AVICII Invector'. His music continues in this new rhythm game, which combines Avicii's EDM tracks with tranquil visuals in single-player mode or split-screen sessions for up to four players.
AVICII Invector is part of a movement of support and tribute to the late Swedish DJ and music producer. The announcement follows the sell-out of the Avicii Tribute Concert, which will be held on December 5th in Stockholm, where renowned acts such as Rita Ora, Kygo, David Guetta and many more will pay their respects to Avicii.
Tim Bergling, aka Avicii, was a lifelong gamer. He worked on AVICII Invector for two years and was able to witness the release of the first version on the PS4. The upcoming multiplatform release takes rhythm games to a new level and helps to honor and celebrate Bergling's music. Created in his honor in collaboration with the Bergling family, AVICII Invector is much more than just a tribute to his music following his tragic death in 2018.
AVICII Invector lets fans fly solo or against each other in split-screen, accompanied by 25 of his greatest hits. Players help space pilot Stella on her journey through breathtaking landscapes from world to world. Her skills are continuously perfected as the player tries to hit all the notes with her across three difficulty levels.
The team at Wired Productions and Hello There Games are true music fans who want to make a difference with their work. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to the Tim Bergling Foundation, which works to have suicide recognized as a global health issue and to destigmatize conversations about mental health.
