Former Assassin's Creed designer Patrice Désilets may soon be able to talk about his new project, which is currently known as '1666'.
So far, a clause in his contract with his former employer Ubisoft prevents him from publicly revealing anything about what he himself says could be the next Assassin's Creed game. This clause is only valid until the end of the month, so Désilets is currently working on something along those lines.
When asked if he had anything interesting to announce in the coming weeks, heißt is “Probably, yes… at least, I’m working on it.”
Whether this is indeed the disputed '1666', which mainly concerns rights, is still unclear. More information may be available in the coming weeks.
