Rocksteady already hinted at the announcement of 'Batman: Arkham Knight' that they had designed a completely new character for the game – the Arkham Knight.
Although they had already appeared before first pictures This was mentioned, but it was only officially unveiled today. The Arkham Knight was created by Rocksteady in collaboration with DC and represents a futuristic version of the Batman we know, equipped with armor and all sorts of technological gadgets.
Initially, there was some apprehension about creating a new character for the DC Universe, but ultimately, this presented Rocksteady with an incredible opportunity that doesn't come along very often. Furthermore, the collaboration with DC was a great experience, as producer Dax Ginn noted that they have truly experienced people who put a lot of work into it.
Not much more is currently known about the Arkham Knight, so it's still assumed that he will be an antagonist of Batman in Gotham City. However, some images from the game have been released today.
