Since yesterday, the Major November update This is available for 'Battlefield 1', which is currently particularly annoying for PS4 Pro owners. It's likely that parts of the game have been downgraded.
While performance on the PS4 Pro remains at its peak, there are complaints that more jagged edges are now visible. Furthermore, initial tests have revealed that something has been changed in the TAA (Total Anti-aliasing). However, the update isn't entirely dissatisfied, as many users report that it feels significantly better, especially in Conquest Mode.
DICE is bound by confidentiality.
Normally, one would expect a statement from EA or DICE at this point, but as Studio Engineer Julian Manolov points out, there is a confidentiality agreement with Sony and Microsoft that would prohibit talking about such things.
It is of course also possible that the errors now reported will be corrected with an upcoming update, so we will have to wait and see.
(Update)
According to Development Director Nils Hallberg, the problems on the PS4 Pro have been acknowledged and are being investigated. However, a solution has not yet been announced, but it will likely be provided in a future update.
