DICE has as announced The Battlefield 1 expansion 'They Shall Not Pass' has been released for free for a short period of two weeks, which all owners of the game can download from the PlayStation Store.

In 'They Shall Not Pass', you are part of one of the bravest armies of the First World War... the French. Fight in the cauldron of Verdun or entrench yourselves in the depths of Fort Vaux, where barbaric battles rage in its gas-filled tunnels. Then, in the war's largest tank offensive on the banks of the Aisne, you'll command mechanical monsters and a unique arsenal.

The name 'They Shall Not Pass' comes from the battle cry of the French during the war, which translates to: 'Don't let them through'.
