While we still have to wait a few days to get a realistic look at 'Battlefield 1', numerous artworks of the game have already leaked online.
These reveal at least offer some scenarios and potential impressions of what awaits you in the final game, including epic aerial battles, urban combat, battles between balloons and aircraft, and much more. Specifically regarding close-quarters combat, it has also been stated that it will be extremely brutal and completely different from previous Battlefield games.
Entire worlds collide here.
Multiplayer producer Andreas Morell told OXM Magazine that while wars were fought in the air, on land, or at sea, a large part of the fighting still took place on the ground. Imagine a soldier from that era, handed the first submachine guns, and then walking around the corner to find a guy with a medieval club – two extreme worlds colliding. This was something they wanted to capture in the game and represents the brutal side of Battlefield 1's combat.
Battlefield 1 will be revealed at the EA Play event during E3, as well as in a detailed live stream event afterward. The game itself will be released this October. You can find the latest artwork at this link.
