Bloodborne remains locked away on PS4: Sony is playing with fans' hopes and leaving them in the dark about remasters and port releases.

It's becoming a running joke: Sony and the never-ending saga of "Bloodborne remaster or port rumors." This time, the PlayStation Germany Twitter account stirred up a wave of hope—and plunged fans straight into the heart of disappointment. A tweet with the words “We say: Bloodborne. You say?” That was enough to rekindle the hopes of the fans' worried hearts. And who could blame them? A nearly ten-year-old game still stuck on the PS4, and all we hear about it are vague hints and empty promises.

Every additional tweet infuriates fans

As always, fans are hoping for the big remaster or the long-awaited PC port – of course, who could forget the countless rumors and misinformation of recent years? Simple Tweets like this That's enough to reignite long-held fantasies. Sure, they cling to every tiny spark of hope. But doesn't there come a point where repeated disappointment simply becomes painful?

Because what are the fans actually getting? More vague remarks and the same old story: "Yes, Bloodborne exists, but no, there is no remaster, no PS5 version, no PC edition. Sorry!" It almost feels like a poorly executed marketing gimmick – a bit of fodder for the disappointed souls who still believe in the miracle that FromSoftware will eventually decide to rescue the game from the PS4 era. And these glimmers of hope seem to be piling up lately, as reported here.

Ten years of waiting that are worthless

As if that weren't enough, PlayStation also lists "Bloodborne“It’s listed as one of the titles turning ten this year. A subtle slap in the face for all those who imagine that this monument of the PS4 era will finally get a worthy successor or an expanded version. But as we know, Sony likes to leave us hanging.”

Finally, Shuhei Yoshida, the former president of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios, explains the problem very clearly: Hidetaka Miyazaki is simply too busy"Elden Ring" and the "Shadow of the Earthtree" DLC are the obvious reasons why "Bloodborne" isn't in development. But don't worry, folks, it'll happen eventually. Maybe. Or maybe not.

In any case: fans, we're sorry, but it looks like you can continue to cling to your remaster dreams. Because it seems nothing will be catapulted from the PS4 era into the future anytime soon.
