The development studio Bluepoint Games has made a name for itself in the past primarily through remasters and re-releases, including those responsible for the Uncharted Trilogy and the upcoming 'Shadow of the Colossus'.

A behind-the-scenes video released today offers a glimpse into the studio, its workflows, and its goal of making Shadow of the Colossus on PS4 the ultimate version of a gaming legend.

Bluepoint has since grown into a team of several dozen employees, although it all started with just two people: Marco Thrush, now the company's CEO, and Andy O'Neil, currently the deputy CEO. Marco and Andy also created the Bluepoint Engine, which is still in use today and has been featured in some of the developer's games:

  • Blast Factor (PS3)
  • God of War Collection (PS3)
  • ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Classics HD (PS3)
  • Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (PS3, PS Vita)
  • PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale (PS Vita version)
  • Titanfall (Xbox 360 version)
  • Flower (versions for PS4 and PS Vita)
  • Gravity Rush Remastered (PS4)
  • Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (PS4)
  • Shadow of the Colossus (PS4)
