The hugely successful indie title 'Brothers - A Tale Of Two Sons' by Starbreeze and 505 Games is now also available on disc for PlayStation 4, including a commentary by the director, the soundtrack and a concept art gallery.
Developed by The Workshop for current-gen consoles and directed by filmmaker Josef Fares, Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons is the breathtaking story of two brothers desperately trying to save their dying father. They have only one choice: they must set out to find an elixir that can cure his terminal illness. They will only survive the journey if they can rely on each other. One must be strong when the other is weak. One must be brave when the other is afraid. They must help each other. Players must master a unique control system to guide both brothers simultaneously through the perilous terrain.
The utterly captivating experience of Brothers is an epic story told without words. It is set in a changing world, ranging from rugged mountain peaks to musty underground caverns. This unique mythical world, drawing its inspiration from Norse cultures and archaeology, is in a transitional phase between the old and the new.
Since its release in 2013 (then for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360), Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons is still considered one of the best games for the last generation of game consoles and has received over 15 “Best of 2013” awards.
The game has also been available as a digital download since August 12, 2015, on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store (for Xbox One). (pr)
