Activision can today confirm the final age rating for 'Call of Duty: WWII', which, as usual, can be played in this country from the age of 18.
The title from Sledgehammer Games received the "Not suitable for minors according to § 14 JuSchG" rating, but is nevertheless subject to censorship that applies exclusively to the campaign. The only change in the German, Austrian, and German-language Swiss versions of the game concerns the depiction of symbols of unconstitutional organizations (according to § 86a StGB) in the story mode. All of the aforementioned versions are also optionally playable in English. Both the multiplayer and zombie modes are completely identical to the international version.
