Developer Sledgehammer Games has confirmed the start of Season I of Ranked Play in 'Call of Duty: WWII' for this evening, and has also revealed detailed information about it.
The first season, 'The Placement Season', will therefore start. um 19 Uhr, where you compete against players of a similar skill level in 4v4 matches. The game modes you can expect here include Search & Destroy, Capture the Flag, and Hardpoint, all played with typical eSports settings.
Winning a match earns points that allow you to advance to the next level, while losing has points deducted. You can work your way up the leaderboard throughout the season, which ultimately determines your qualification for the next season.
Ranked Play supports a total of seven tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Masters. The top 100 players in the Master tier are promoted to the Pro tier at the end of the season. As a reward, they receive exclusive helmets that can be permanently used in multiplayer and ranked play. Further details about ranked play can be found on the official website.
