CD Projekt has also cancelled its participation in the PAX East event, which starts tomorrow, Thursday, at very short notice. The reason, in this case as well, is likely the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), which has now reached Europe.

As Stephanie Bayer, NA Head of Communications for CD Projekt RED, writes on Twitter, the team will not be attending PAX East. However, no official explanation has been given.

They have assured that they would at least like to participate in the GDC in March, but they will probably wait and see how the global situation develops in the coming weeks.

In addition to CD Projekt, Sony, Kojima Productions and other developers and publishers have also cancelled their participation in upcoming events.

Update: PUBG Corp. will also not be participating in the PAX event, as was confirmed at rather short notice.
