Ubisoft released the story-driven RPG 'Child of Light' for PS Vita today, following its widespread success on major home consoles in April.
Child of Light is a reimagining of classic fairy tales with a unique artistic style inspired by artwork from the golden age of illustration. Presented as a playable poem, Child of Light™ sends players on an unusual journey through the mystical world of Lemuria. Players take on the role of Aurora, a young princess who must free the sun, moon, and stars from the clutches of the Night Queen. Paying homage to classic JRPGs, Child of Light™ combines platforming with turn-based combat and features a rich story, a great soundtrack, and beautiful hand-drawn visuals.
Child of Light was developed by a small team of experienced developers at Ubisoft Montreal and is based on Ubisoft's UbiArt Framework engine. UbiArt Framework is a powerful engine that allows programmers and artists to bring their creations to life by integrating their original designs directly into the game world. Playing Child of Light is like stepping into an interactive painting.
Child of Light is available as a digital download or on GameCard.
