  • Fixed an issue where progression at the “Vault of Vengeance” Abyss was not possible.

Background of the error

The bug in the Vault of Vengeance Abyss was particularly critical because it couldn't be bypassed simply by reloading the save. Players sometimes had to resort to creative workarounds, such as manually importing energy cores from other areas or performing risky gliding maneuvers across map boundaries. This fix eliminates those workarounds. According to Pearl Abyss, the scripts for the door triggers and the placement of quest items have been corrected.

The fix introduced a new bug affecting the aesthetics. The "Elegant Carmine Leather Armor" was unintentionally altered in appearance during a clipping correction. Pearl Abyss has already acknowledged this bug; a fix is planned for the next update.

That's crazy when you consider that Ubisoft sold reindeer like that for €20 each in Valhalla and Shadows. Maybe I'll get the game.
