Pearl Abyss has released version 1.07.00 for "Crimson Desert". The update fixes numerous quest blockers and expands the endgame with new combat options.
The boss rematch now features five additional enemies. Muskan, Goyen, Draven, the Clockwork Whitehorn, and the Corrupted Caliburn are now available at fixed locations in the game world. Players no longer need to descend into the Abyss to replay these encounters. The journal now explicitly lists their locations under the memory fragments.
The developers also place the battles in thematically appropriate locations such as the Bone Pit or the Top of the Sun, which saves walking distances.
Expansion of melee systems and mounts
The protagonist Damiane also gains new unarmed combat skills. These can be activated in the skills menu under the Fists tab. Companions Oongka and Cliff have also been equipped with maneuvers such as the Leap Strike and the Storm Slash. Pearl Abyss simultaneously improves accuracy against downed enemies. It's all about mechanical precision.
The new mount system The game "Crimson Desert" now includes wolves and bears. These can be registered as official mounts and some can even be controlled with reins. Additional spawn points for registerable animals have been distributed throughout the world.
The patch also fixes a critical bug that caused crashes on AMD graphics cards running driver version 26.5.1. UI errors related to controller mapping and incorrect icon displays for the Star Sword have also been corrected. According to the studio statement, quest-related issues in tasks such as "The Face on the Bounty" and "Protector of the Abyss" have been resolved.

Pearl Abyss are a really hardworking, ambitious studio! They're tweaking everything, except unfortunately the right thing: performance.
Therefore, a return to Pywel is out of the question for me until the PS6 version is released.
Doesn't the Pro version run so well? I haven't played it yet, but from what I can tell, it seems to have a lot of physics calculations. I think the current generation with its 16GB of RAM might not have enough. Perl Abyss needs to optimize it further. Buying a new console just so a game runs more smoothly reminds me of a PC model. You might as well just switch.
The current console generation, including the Pro, is simply overwhelmed by Crimson Desert and an enemy density of 237k per enemy camp. In boss fights and larger cities, the CPU limitation is also on full display. Hope you caught the irony 😉
It's like Unreal Engine 5: stunning in still images, a disaster in motion. These games benefit from raw power and will run significantly better on the next generation, looking noticeably better with DRS.
