Massive Monster and Devolver Digital are sending you this year with Cult of the Lamb, The darkly sweet game about the everyday challenges of being the head of a cult, on a soul hunt.
In Cult of the Lamb Players take on the role of a possessed lamb, rescued from destruction by an ominous stranger. This debt must now be repaid by building a loyal following in his name. To do this, players establish their own cult in a land of false prophets, exploring various mysterious regions to build a faithful community of (devout) forest creatures and spread the word – to become the one true cult.
With each excursion into the vast realm, ever more hordes of new and dangerous enemies appear, as well as rival cults whose influential leaders must be defeated in order to seize their power and secure the supremacy of one's own cult.
The decisions you make will determine how you are perceived – will you be idolized or feared? The cult begins its ceremonies on PlayStation this year.
