THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have released the launch trailer for the console release of 'Darksiders Genesis', which is coming out this week.
In Darksiders Genesis, STRIFE can fight alongside his brother and fellow Rider WAR, for the first time in co-op mode. Solo players can instantly switch between STRIFE and WAR, utilizing their respective melee attacks. The gameplay also includes riding the legendary horses of the two riders: RAMPAGE and MAYHEM.
About the story:
Since the dawn of creation, "The Council" has maintained the balance of existence. Its commands are carried out by the Horsemen, Nephilim (powerful beings born from the unnatural union of angels and demons) who have sworn allegiance to the Council and been granted immense power. But this power came at a high price: the Horsemen were ordered to use their newfound abilities to exterminate the rest of their kind. A bloody battle then erupted in Eden, in which the Horsemen fulfilled the Council's will and destroyed the Nephilim.
Darksiders Genesis also includes the introduction of Creature Cores, a combat system that allows players to customize their own upgrade system, powered by the enemies they defeat.
Darksiders Genesis will be officially released tomorrow, Friday.
