Ready at Dawn has postponed their title 'De-formers' indefinitely; it was originally scheduled for release this February. The developer announced this in their latest development update.
The statement begins by thanking everyone for the feedback gathered during the initial testing phases. At the same time, it also reveals that some adjustments are needed to deliver the best possible experience. Furthermore, the developers plan to use the additional time gained to invite more players to participate in pre-tests and potentially incorporate their feedback as well. Until then, they thank everyone for their patience and can't wait to share more of the game.
De-formers is described as a mix of Super Smash Bros., Gang Beats, Super Monkey Ball, and Twisted Metal, in which you roll your characters through arenas and attack various types of opponents. You can ram them, shoot them, or simply knock them out of the arena. A good balance of offensive and defensive attacks is required, as overpowered attacks like a boomerang can backfire. At the same time, you can collect plenty of ammunition that steadily increases your strength, but using it also drains a significant amount of your power.
A new release date has not yet been announced.
