Tecmo Koei will release Dead or Alive 5 Plus for PlayStation Vita on Friday, which impresses with great graphics, cross-play features and new martial arts fighting techniques.
Players can step into the roles of DOA fighters and battle each other in international locations, with each stage featuring its own unique, interactive backdrop. The detailed design makes the characters incredibly realistic. The dream lineup includes Ryu Hayabusa, Hayate, Ayane, Kasumi, Hitomi, Bayman, Christie, Lei Fang, Zack, Bass, Rig, Helena, Lisa, Eliot, Tina, and more. As an added bonus, three guest characters from SEGA's Virtua Fighter are also featured – Akira Yuki, Pai Chan, and Sarah Bryant!
Dead or Alive 5 Plus fully utilizes the PS Vita's capabilities, allowing players to engage in combat via touch controls. By tapping the OLED screen or swiping, players can unleash devastating moves and combos, leaving their opponents no chance. With the new training mode and expanded move overview, both beginners and experts can analyze and improve their fighting skills. For those who find the PS Vita game world too small, cross-play battles against PlayStation 3 players of DOA5 are available.
The demo, which will be released alongside the game on March 22nd, is available as a free download from the PlayStation Store and has a lot to offer. In single-player mode, players can conquer eight stages as Kasumi, Hayabusa, Eliot, or Tina and defeat the computer opponents. The demo gives players the opportunity to try out new features such as touch and cross-play battles and transfer their save data to the full version.
