The release of Dead Island: Riptide, which has been incredibly successful as a whole franchise, is fast approaching.
Before fans can dive into the new zombie-infested island of Palanai, Creative Director Guido Eickmeyer promises "exciting news" for fans, possibly even hinting at another installment, which will presumably be released for the next-gen consoles.
"Well, it would be surprising to put a franchise on hold after such outstanding success. What I can tell you at this point is: there will be a lot of exciting news for our fans this year."
Dead Island: Riptide will be released on April 26, 2013.
