Wired Productions and KeokeN Interactive are showing a new video today for ‘Deliver us the moon', in which one talks about the inspirations from the Apollo 11 mission.

Deliver Us The Moon is set in a post-apocalyptic near future where Earth's resources are depleted and humanity looks to the stars. Nations unite to create the World Space Agency – an organization tasked with solving the extreme energy crisis.

Inspired by their grandparents' stories, the developers set out to create something that captured everything they had ever dreamed of. 100 years after the first man-made object reached the surface of the moon, Deliver Us the Moon is even a tribute to the original moon landing, featuring the original lunar lander and the US flag for players to visit.

“It’s unimaginable how brave it is to leave our home planet and set foot on another celestial body,” said Koen Deetman. “My brother and I always asked the question: ‘What would it be like to be an astronaut?’”

Deliver Us The Moon will be released later this year.
