Sony is working on a redesign of the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 4, which was apparently released too early last night. In the future, product pages will be displayed in even more detail.
This includes clearer information about download sizes, HD trailers for the games playing in the background, and each game having multiple subpages including information on DLCs, cross-buy, features, bundles, avatars, matching themes, and much more. This was long overdue, as the developers weren't entirely happy with the current design. While it was sleek and modern, it wasn't very effective at boosting sales, as individual games were easily forgotten. The images below offer a glimpse of the new design.
Sony has since taken the new design offline again, so it's likely someone simply pressed the button too quickly. However, the launch of the new design shouldn't be too far off, and an announcement is expected soon.
