PowerWash Simulator is undoubtedly one of the more quirky games of recent years. Fittingly, a DLC has now been announced for release this summer, sending you and your pressure washer into the colorful world of Bikini Bottom from the popular SpongeBob SquarePants TV series. Unlike previous updates, however, this new pack will not be free.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Special Pack is scheduled for release in summer 2023. Power Wash Simulator It will be released and will cost €7,99. A specific release date has not yet been announced, and there is only a short teaser and a few screenshots available. However, these already give a good preview of what fans of the yellow sponge can expect this summer. The models and environments to be cleaned are significantly more colorful and have a cartoonish style compared to anything seen before.
For the first time, the developers have also visually customized the player's equipment. Pressure washers and other tools now share the same style and blend seamlessly into the overall aesthetic. In addition to SpongeBob, Squidward, and Patrick's houses, the Krusty Krab is also included as a new environment. The DLC campaign spans six completely new maps. You'll get to clean the Bikini Bottom Bus, the Invisible Boatmobile, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy's cave, and more. Of course, iconic models like the Bubble Stand, Boatmobiles, and the Burger Car are also featured.
Whether any characters from the series will make a cameo appearance is currently unclear. There are no gameplay changes. Your task remains to use an arsenal of cleaning tools to completely rid an environment of dirt and make it shine like new. However, you'll have to find out for yourself why your pressure washer works underwater and why SpongeBob doesn't take matters into his own hands when you play the SpongeBob SquarePants Special Pack.
