Not all fans are happy with the first taste of 'Destiny 2' that they got from the current closed beta. This criticism is justified and has been heard by developer Bungie, who have already responded.
As already in our preview It should be noted that there are several points of contention in the BETA, including the possibly too weak Guardians, limited access to Gear, fewer players in PvP mode, and the sparing use of Super.
Such criticism was to be expected, as the BETA build does not reflect the latest development state, but according to Beta Design Lead Rob Engeln, it is already a month old and various changes have been made since then. This is how it is stated in Weekly Update:
"The PvE game tuning has already been significantly changed since the BETA build was completed. The nature of a BETA of this scale requires it to be based on a build of the game that is now a month old. In many cases, your feedback helps us validate changes we have previously made based on internal playtesting and feedback."
Therefore, it can probably be assumed that the game will feel somewhat different at its release in September and will continue to be adapted afterwards.
Destiny 2 will be released worldwide on September 03, 2017. The Open Beta starts this evening, giving the rest of the players the chance to try it out.
