Diablo IV Season 8 brings back Belial and launches an epic Berserk crossover! New bosses, a new Battle Pass system, skills, events, and iconic looks.

The truth is a lie – or was it the other way around? In season 8 of Diablo IV None other than Belial, the cunning Lord of Lies, returns. Blizzard not only takes its dark storytelling to a new level, but also unleashes a host of devilish gameplay innovations. And as if that weren't enough, the infernal universe of... merges with... starting May 6th. Diablo with the legendary dark fantasy epic Berserk – a collaboration that will make fans of both worlds sit up and take notice.

Welcome to the realm of lies

In "Belial's Return," nothing is left to chance—or to truth. The manipulative demon is once again pulling the strings, as players embark on a quest for a distorted spark of reality. New questlines lead through a world where apparition monsters plague entire regions. These invasion events function like an open-world boss rush—perfect for co-op fanatics and solo heroes with a death wish.

With the revamped shelter system, Blizzard is taking another step towards endgame optimization: The Exalted Shelter Boss Belial isn't just a highlight for mechanics fans, but also a damn good reason to jump back into the fray. Those who persevere will be rewarded with the new Battle Pass system Access to 24 unique boss powers with 48 possible combinations – a nightmare for meta hunters, a dream for build tinkerers.

Berserk: When Sanctuary meets Guts

Things will get really bloody from May 6th onwards. With Berserk x Diablo IV The first external crossover event takes center stage – and what a day it is! Anyone familiar with Miura's disturbingly brilliant masterpiece knows: there's no mercy here. Players deserve Behelits – those dark artifacts infamous from the manga – and exchange them for legendary looks like the Berserker armor for barbarians or the fearsome Skull Knight for necromancers.

In addition, shop-exclusive mounts, pets, and Twitch Drops await hunters and collectors. Those who log in early and take down elite enemies will receive cosmetic items that not only look eerily beautiful but also have true collector's value. Time is limited – the event ends with Season 8.

Blizzard has understood: Who Diablo Loves, wants more than just new loot. With Belial's return and the BerserkSeason 8 delivers a true inferno for all the senses, not only in terms of content but also style. Whether you're on the trail of the truth or simply want to smash demons in iconic armor – you shouldn't miss this season.
