How Moogles are integrated into the game in FFXIV
In Final Fantasy 14 Moogles take on a variety of roles – from craftsmen and event characters to an entire tribe with its own king. Classically designed with a round body, pink nose, and floating pom-pom on their heads, they can be encountered by players in the Dravania region, specifically in the "Waving Mists" area. There, players can build factions with the Moogle tribe and earn Kupo Nuts, which can be exchanged for rare items.
One particularly curious chapter is that of King Mogul Mog XII. The Primal variant of this ruler already appeared in the main game and became a summonable boss enemy through a failed Moogle ritual in the Twelve Woods. The "cheeky king," as some players call him, is anything but a joke – his reappearances in "A Realm Reborn" and "Endwalker" underscore his narrative relevance.
