Sierra and the Norwegian development studio Rock Pocket Games today released the intergalactic puzzle-platformer Shiftlings
The clever gameplay of Shiftlings is based on two main characters – two crazy alien engineers whose spacesuits are connected by an air hose. They can use this hose to move air between their suits, changing their size and weight. This allows them to, for example, jump onto previously inaccessible platforms, squeeze through narrow passages, or move heavy objects to clear the way for their partner.
Shiftlings features over 50 levels across five extraordinary planets. Players can take on the universe alone by controlling both engineers simultaneously, or experience the adventure together with a friend in co-op mode – either together on the couch or online.
The story of Shiftlings is set in an intergalactic reality TV show. The attentive commentator, the two unsuspecting stars, and the comic-book style underscore the game's quirky humor.
