The second eFootball x Captain Tsubasa collaboration has started – with exclusive special cards, epic crossover content and qualification for the eFootball Championship 2025!

The second Collaboration between eFootball and Captain Tsubasa It brings an exciting array of content that should delight fans of both franchises. Konami has released a new update that not only boasts exclusive special cards but also qualification for the official eFootball Championship 2025 opened. In this collaboration, the world of classic football anime meets the reality of professional football – and the result is impressive.

Epic crossover cards are also being added.

The update's centerpiece is the special cards illustrated by Yoichi Takahashi, the creator of Captain Tsubasa. Among the standout cards are portraits of Neymar Jr. and Lionel Messi, rendered in Takahashi's unique style. But that's not all: players can also look forward to epic crossover cards that unite football icons with legendary characters from Captain Tsubasa. These cards bring together real football legends and fictional superstars, including Michel Platini as Elle Sid Pierre, Eric Cantona as Louis Napoleon, and Diego Forlán as Ramon Victorino.

However, the collaboration goes far beyond exciting maps. With the start of the in-game qualification competition for the eFootball Championship 2025 Players have the opportunity to qualify for the world's largest esports tournament. Last year, an incredible 39,76 million players participated in the qualifying rounds – a true spectacle just waiting to discover new talent again this year.

Valuable rewards await

The first qualifying stage, the Challenge Event, runs from January 30th to February 6th and gives players the chance to collect valuable rewards. Regular logins grant an Item Selector, which can be exchanged for three in-game training programs. Additionally, participation in PvP and challenge events can unlock up to 40.000 GP, skill training programs, and valuable training items.

The initial rewards in the first round are also enticing: players can win up to 100 eFootball-Coins, 1.000 eFootballEarn points and 100.000 GP. The race for the eFootball Championship 2025 has begun, and who knows, maybe we'll soon see the next world champion in the digital arenas of eFootball!
