FF7 is definitely released on February 29th, but you could just as easily say March 1st.

Because it's a leap year, February doesn't always have 29 days, or rather, Square set the deadline as late as possible so that the current fiscal year would still end profitably. You know all about the return on investment ;)
But you're right, I'm super hyped for FF7 too. Hopefully we'll get a demo on Wednesday. Then I'll play the demo until the game comes out.
One more note about the release
I agree that if it comes out on February 29th, it will definitely be a digital overnight release; by the time I've got everything sorted out privately and can play, it will probably be March 1st.
