Warframe developer Digital Extremes already had a next-gen free-to-play shooter in development before the official release of the Playstation 4, and the konnte to gather initial experiences with the next generation now.

“The hardware and architecture are incredible; it’s a dream to work with the PlayStation 4,” said Creative Director Steve Sinclair. These advantages allowed the developers to work on “Warframe” very quickly and achieve initial success after just three months – the title now runs at 1080p and impresses with detailed graphics and a blend of shooter and beat 'em up.

While the exact release date for "Warframe" in Germany remains unknown, the developer confirmed that the game will be a launch title and will be released alongside the Playstation 4.
