So it's finally happening! Codemasters can announce the release of today. DiRT 5 confirm for the PS5 launch in November, including a free upgrade.
Previously, they were quite hesitant about this release, only confirming it for all other platforms. Now it's official: the racer will be available on the PS5 launch day, November 12th/19th. Those who initially opt for the PS4 version can upgrade for free later.
The features of the PS5 version also include 4K resolution, a 120fps option, faster loading times, and the features of the DualSense controller, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Save game not fully compatible
A complete save game transfer from PS4 to PS5 is still not possible, as already a few days ago Please note: Playgrounds Creations can be transferred initially, but career progress, in-game currency, and saved liveries cannot be transferred at this time. Codemasters will provide immediate updates should this change.
