Codemasters has released update 4.03 for DiRT 5 An update has been released that now enables cross-platform matchmaking. On top of that, the official Red Bull liveries are included.
In total, there are now eight official Red Bull liveries to choose from for different vehicles. The Playgrounds Create Mode also includes the Red Bull archway, new weather conditions (wet/storm) have been added, the Ghost Lap Time option is now available in Time Trial and Gate Crasher events, and new driver stickers are awarded for reaching certain milestones.
Cross-Platform Matchmaking
Even more action and fun are now offered by cross-platform matchmaking compatibility for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC players. This makes it possible to connect players on different platforms in all public lobbies, further increasing online activity every time you join – whether in traditional extreme races or party mode.
Another community request was the ability to display relevant lap times from the global leaderboard directly on the track: the fastest global lap, the closest global lap to your time, the closest lap time of your friends, or your personal best. With the new Ghost Lap data, you can now see exactly where you can shave off a few more seconds on the track.
